The world of show business is full of gags on the taxi world. But while Alberto Sordi is, in popular imagination, the symbol of Roman cab drivers, Cooperativa Radiotaxi 3570 is, in reality, the symbol of how a cooperative is and should be in Italy and in the world. Founded in a distant and sunny Sunday of November in 1968 by little more than 100 associates and founders and with a slogan that said "Roman colleagues! The Roman radio cab cooperative belongs to Roman taxi drivers who want to be part of it. The cost of the service is the lowest in all of Europe.", today Cooperativa Radiotaxi 3570 boasts 3,700 cars in the capital alone and it is the largest Italian organization in the sector and the largest radio cab cooperative in Europe.
It was in 1903 when the Mercedes simplex peeked out in front of the theaters of the French belle époque, the first prototype of a 'modern' taxi that alternates with cars for hire pulled by horses. Since then the changes have been numerous and today, driven by the technological progress of Cooperativa Radiotaxi, we don't just have a car for the present but a 'Taxi from the future', supported by incredible numbers: more than 10,000,000 taxi services provided in a year, 1,300 agreements with professionals, small and large enterprises, all of this thanks to a punctual and winning service. The latter, guaranteed by 700 modems for calls and 150 receiving phone lines in the operations center. During the long journey that we travelled to arrive to today's goal, the focus of the cooperative's attention has been, in addition to the operation of the service, always and only the clients.. It focusses its attention on clients and has as main goal that of producing services that satisfy its needs, always experimenting with new opportunities and converging ease of use and transparency.

Cooperativa Radiotaxi 3570 has been the first organization in the sector in Italy to obtain quality certification and is to this day certified according to the international norm ISO 9001:2008. With 3,700 associates it is the largest in Italy and among the largest in Europe, providing more than 10,000,000 taxi services per year and with a high quality level backed by a percentage of complaints received under 0.6 per thousand (2,280 complaints in 2008 out of 10,000,000 provided services). Courtesy: greeting the client declaring the identification of the Cooperative (the automated system communicates to the client the identification code of the operator and then the assignment and time of arrival of the cab or the temporary lack of availability).
Accuracy: takes care of the requests of the client. Communicates the longest waiting time (even in relation with events such as: demonstrations, fairs, congresses, conventions or accidents such as traffic closures due to force majeure).
Speed: supplying the client with the identification of the taxi and the expected time of arrival within 90 seconds from the call (in 90% of cases and except for special or force majeure circumstances).
Customer service: booking both via 3570 switchboard and Internet, SMS and app, with advance notice, lost property, disruptions and complaints.
